We can move from nowhere to NOW HERE
We just need someone to point the way...

It's not about knowing or believing: we need a new operating system

Many of us who crave a spiritual breakthrough press hard on a quest for knowledge.  We've been successful and our minds are loaded with truth, yet somehow that truth does not give us peace, fulfillment, wellness or prosperity.  Here in America faith seems to have become something that you know that you know to be true.  Yet, that's not faith at all.  Faith occurs when one does not know yet chooses to be at peace.  We tend to be afraid of mystery, or we see it as a challenge.  We can't enjoy the divine global magic show because we're so busy trying to figure out how everything works.  We've been deceived into believing that mystery is the things that are beyond knowing, which limits us. Indeed, mystery actually occurs when something is infinitely knowable----a limitless unfolding of beauty and wisdom.

Does what you sense in your heart conflict with what's in your head?  This may be especially true for folks who, like me, were raised in a fundamentalist religion.  What you know in your heart is true of God doesn't jive with the black and white, in or out, judgmental, exclusivist church.  There is a way to break free yet it demands a new way of thinking---a new way of seeing with your heart and mind.
"But the emperor has nothing on at all!" cried a little child.
                                              Hans Christian Anderson

On numerous occasions the disciples or religious leaders challenged Jesus on esoteric points of law or knowledge.  Jesus's response was often to point to a little child, and tell the listeners that unless  they become like the child they can not understand.  He was not telling them what to think, rather he was trying to teach them HOW to think.  It's interesting that in the four gospels Jesus is asked 182 questions, yet he only answers three.  The answer is often beyond knowing.

I'm not young enough to know everything.
                                                     J.M. Barrie

"Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.”
                                                 Marianne Williamson

In the Noble Pointer Blog and within the pages of this site, my hope is to point to a new way of knowing, a new way of living, a new way of "being" that will help you breakfree from the things that have held you in bondage.  It is my desire that you be wise, prosperous, whole and well, and that every life you touch be blessed.  More than anything, I desire that you become who you already are...

So grab a cup of coffee or tea, and snuggle up to your monitor; let us grow and grow quickly.  When you're ready, I will even teach you the secret name of God.  Knowing that name will take you to a place of understanding and being that you have craved for all your life.  However, I can only tell you the name in person---it is beyond the written word...
